The Sundance Villa is a three storey circular villa with rotating
top floor set into a storey-high landscaped bank on the north edge
of Howell's Mere. The main entrance is on the first floor with master
suite and spacious viewing deck with marvellous views out across
the waters of Howell's Mere and the surrounding landscape.
The main floor above accommodates a large living room and terrace,
kitchen and dining area and a study/bedroom. The whole of this floor
rotates 360 degrees whilst sections of the roof open, like the wing
flaps of a plane, to make the most of the views as well as channel
the prevailing winds to passively help cool the building in the
hot summer.
On the ground floor are two guest bedrooms, gym, sauna, dining
'cave' and kitchen, wine cellar and screening room. There is a large
relaxing terrace opening out onto Howell's Mere with an external
bar area, eco-pool and lap pool, whilst a small inlet to the west
provides mooring for two small boats.
